Zip line

Casares also has a short zip line that allows you to soar 80 metres above the old quarter. It is 330 m long and lasts for around 30 seconds. It is suitable for people of any age as long as they weigh between 40 and 110 kg. The line runs between the Paseo del Chaparral (below puerto de la Cruz) and Las Peñuelas, at the end of Calle Molinos.

The entrance fee is 12 € per person, although for groups of more than 3 people different discounts will be applied. People registered in Casares have a discount of 50%. Tickets can be purchased at the Municipal Gymnasium, by telephone 952913131 or by email deportes@casares.es.

Via ferratas in Casares

In the Tajo de la Planá, below Casares castle, there are also two public via ferratas that are not too hard (K2). You need 35 minutes to complete each of them. Their altitude goes over 62 and 50 metres, and they are 81 and 98 metres long, respectively. The second one has 2 monkey bridges.
